Theology of The Body:
"Called To Be More"
Young people today face unique and often overwhelming challenges. Many struggle with feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and confusion, searching for meaning and identity in a world that offers them conflicting messages about who they should be. As educators and faith leaders, we have the opportunity—and the responsibility—to guide them towards the truth of who they are in God’s eyes. Pope St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body offers a transformative vision of human dignity and purpose rooted in God’s love. These teachings remind us that we are all called to live in freedom, truth, and love, becoming the people God created us to be. We are excited to invite all catechism students who attended parish camps between 2019 and 2024 to a special follow-up session: “Called to Be More.” This day of formation is designed to help you delve deeper into the teachings of the Theology of the Body and explore how to embrace your identity as a beloved child of God. Together, we will reflect on what it means to live authentically and courageously, rejecting the world’s superficial labels and embracing the call to greatness.
